Operation Model
A 10,000 sq. ft. auditorium
The 10,000 sq. ft. space will have regulation-sized indoor courts for things like AAU practice space and hosting tournaments. This includes one competition basketball court, two practice basketball courts, two competition volleyball courts, and three practice volleyball courts. Or four pickleball courts, or community meeting space.
The auditorium will have seating capacity for up to 630 people, and will accommodate conferences, weddings, concerts, plays, special events, and church services. It will include a 1200 sq. ft. stage.
The second floor will include a 7000 sq. ft. leasable space on the north side, as well as 2600 sq. ft. of leasable space on the south side of the building. There will also be a 1800 sq. ft. fitness mezzanine. The second floor is above the office wing and overlooks open space above the gym.
A workspace center
The 400 sq. ft. workspace center will host individuals, small business startups, and organizational meetings. Workspaces include WiFi connection, business support equipment, and access to a 165 sq. ft. private conference room. There will be a capacity of six to eight workstations.
Outdoor courts, spaces, & lawn
The outdoor areas plans to include spaces for sand volleyball courts, outdoor pickleball courts, and leasable event space.
An indoor children’s play area
The indoor children’s play structure will be in a 900 sq. ft. room, allowing children to have a safe and comfortable place to play year-round.
Plus, it allows parents to enjoy a cup of coffee or tea as they keep an eye on their little ones.
Leasable private office spaces
The Community Center will include nine leasable, private office spaces ranging between 100-140 sq feet.
A commercial kitchen
The commercial kitchen, known as “Neese’s Kitchen,” will be a little over 600 sq. ft. of space available for lease. The kitchen will include a walk-in refrigerator and freezer.
An aquatic center
The aquatic center will include a six-lane, 25-yard competition pool.
A community pool will promote fitness, health, fun, and create an opportunity for residents to take swim lessons in the safety of a supervised pool.
Because the community have voiced their preference for the pool to be indoor, upon funding availability, the pool will be expanded to a full aquatic center. The Phase Three design will include a splash pad, therapy pool, bathhouse, pool enclosure and family restrooms.
5 multi-purpose rooms
The Community Center will have five leasable multi-purpose rooms that are approximately 1,600 to 1,650 sq. ft. — each with a capacity for up to 60 people. They can be combined into one large multi-purpose room or any combination of the five rooms.
A coffee shop
The Community Center will have a walk-up, full service coffee shop with direct access to the foyer/reception and direct access to the outdoor plaza. It will be operated by The Vine Coffee.
